| Summary: | Scene at the corner of Park and George Streets during the march of the 9th Australian Division through the city. In spite of the inclement weather, thousands lined the route and gave the men a tremendous welcome home. Office workers and others sent down a veritable 'snowstorm' of torn paper and streamers from the top windows. The men are approaching the saluting base at the Town Hall steps. | ||
