| Physical description: | Ferrous Metal; Wood; Standard pattern wooden alarm rattle used by Air Raid and Civil Defence personnel and mainly manufactured from a dark brown hardwood timber which is nailed and screwed. The rear closing panel is the only piece made from three-ply. It has been impressed with a checker's stamp which employs the broad arrow and the numeral 1114, and is stamped MO 1943 MK III. | ||
