- The subject of this drawing is 261617 Lieutenant Colonel Kenneth William Thompson, ED. Thompson died on 5 November 2001 aged 77 years (BS). Royal Australian Artillery, 14 Anti Aircraft Battery; Gunner K Thompson. It depicts him seated and holding a pair of binoculars, while a cockatoo with outstretched wings rests on his knee.
