- The 1914 Anzac men leave France for two months furlough in Australia. Anzac Day London 1919. Inter allied games held at Joinville Le Pont, Paris. No 4 Squadron AFC occupy a German aerodrome at Cologne and some of the aircraft ceded by the Germans under the Armistice terms. Australian soldiers visit Nurse Cavell's memorial and grave at Brussels. Australian troops who a few days before had defeated the Germans at Hamel, march through Paris with other Dominion troops on France's Fete Day. HRH the Prince of Wales spends some time with the Australian Corps presenting medals at an investiture. The shipment of the Amiens gun captured by the AIF. King George V takes salute at the victory march through London on 19 June 1919 by representatives of the naval and military forces. With the King are Queen Mary, the Queen Mother, ex King and Queen of Portugal, Marshal Foch and Lloyd George.
