- Description
- In the Australian Army even the dogs get inoculated. Every few months the twenty or thirty dogs kept as pets by soldiers of the 1st battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (1RAR) in Korea, have to line up for anti-rabies injections. Member of the Royal Australian Army Medical Corps (RAAMC), 33387 Corporal John Albert Caspar, of Bendigo, Vic, has a difficult time trying to put the needle in 'Rusty', who is being held by 27843 Private (Pte) Eric George Cole of Casino, NSW. Next in line with 'Phyllis' is 34294 Pte John Leo Gleeson of Warragul, Vic.
