- Refuge Bay, Hawkesbury River, NSW. c.1943-01-17. Two members of 'Z' Special Unit, Australian Services Reconnaissance Department, prepare to enter the water with a two man canoe known as HMAS Lyon. They were preparing for Operation `Jaywick' in which operatives carried out a successful raid in MV Krait on Japanese shipping in Singapore Harbour using three such canoes.
