Summary: Corporal Leo Berka, of Randwick, NSW, of the Royal Australian Corps of Military Police, serving with the, United Nations Transitional Authority in Cambodia (UNTAC), talking with some children at the front entrance of Pteah Australii (Headquarters, Force Communications Unit). He is one of over 500 Australian troops serving as part of a 15,000-strong United Nations peacekeeping force. The UN is in Cambodia to prepare the country for free elections this year. The Australian contingent is providing the military and civil communications infrastructure for the operation.
