- Studio portrait probably of 486 Private (Pte) William John Pinkerton, 24th Battalion, of Essendon, Vic (right), a woman holding a koala (centre) and another unidentified soldier. Pte Pinkerton enlisted on 22 March 1915 and embarked aboard HMAT Euripides on 10 May 1915. He served as a Sergeant before his return to Australia on 16 June 1919.
