- Ian McNeill (Official History Unit, Australian War Memorial) with the commander of Military Region 7, Lieutenant General Nguyen Thoi Bung, outside his Headquarters. General Bung was the commander of the Viet Cong (VC) 275 Regiment which, with VC Regiment D445, fought D Company, 6th Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (6RAR), during the Battle of Long Tan 1966-08-17/18.
