| Summary: | Informal portrait of David Dare Parker, Official photographer for the Australian War Memorial. Parker is standing inside an unfinished ten story building that was converted into the accommodation quarters for the 2nd Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (2RAR). David Dare Parker was appointed at the same time as Official War Artist Lewis Miller, they travelled to the Middle East and spent several weeks recording the experiences of Australians serving as part of the Coalition forces assembled to disarm Iraq. The image was taken by Corporal Darren Hilder. | ||
