- Crew members from HMAS Kanimbla relax with a guitar session on the ship's flight deck. Identified are Able Seaman (AB) James Dufficy, AB David 'Spud' Murphy, AB Paul Bishop, Seaman (SMN) Glen 'Nobby' Clark, SMN Mark Fisher. During Operation Falconer, HMAS Kanimbla supplied command and control support to the coalition boarding parties clearing the Khawr Abd Allah (KAA) waterway, and logistics support and work platform facilities to Australian Clearance Diving Team 3 (AUSCDT3). HMAS Kanimbla operated in the Middle East as part of the Australian commitment to the Coalition forces assembled to disarm Iraq.
