| Summary: | Muhammed Hassan holds a bunch of flowers in front of Baghdad's bombed-out Olympic Centre building. The building was reportedly used by Saddam Hussein's son Uday as a torture centre. Muhammed Hassan, a gardener at the Olympic Centre, told Australian artist George Gittoes, in April 2003, that twenty-three young girls, between the ages of ten and twelve, were kept prisoner in a basement in the building, and that two died. Gittoes suggested that the gardener place the flowers. | ||
